Chandipur Beach: Balasore is mostly famous for its Chandipur Beach, which is also called vanishing sea beach as during early morning the sea water comes near the shore and later the sea goes 2-3 km away and is not visible from Chandipur sea shore. 

Khirachora Gopinath Temple: Khirachora means the stealer of Butter ('Makhan Chor') is one of the names of Lord Krishna. This is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, the temple located in Remuna which is around 7 km away from Balasore Railway station. This is a colourful temple, here you will see the Divine activity (Lila) of Shri Krishna carved on the wall.

Emami Jagannath Temple: This is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Jagannath and located in Balgopalpur, at a distance of 11 km from Balasore.

Devkund Falls / Simlipal Forest / Maa Ambika Temple: Kund means pond and Devkund means pond of God(Dev). This place is located in Mayurbhanj which is a part of the Simlipal forest. This is a natural pond created from the waterfall coming from the top. On the top, there is a temple which is dedicated to Goddess Ambika.

Panchalingeswar Temple: This is a very popular Temple located on the hilltop, this is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. There are five naturally formed Lings enshrined in the mouth of the steam one can touch and cannot see.

Nilagiri Sri Jagannath Mandir / Nilgiri Rajbari: This is a Jagannath Temple located in the foothills of Swarnachura hills in Nilagiri which is 17 Km away from Balasore rail station. This temple was built by King Harichandan who belongs to Nilagiri Dynasty. You can visit the palace (Rajbari) just beside the temple. 

Buribalam River and Mohana: This is the river from through Balasore and Mohana is the place where the river meets with the sea. This river meeting point with the sea is near Chandipur market.
